Disciplining your child!

Disciplining your children is pretty difficult and it does not help if you are a single parent. The true goal of discipline is to teach children rules of behavior, what behavior society expects from them as mature responsible children and for them to grow up a as responsible mature, socially adept individuals.
You can try to be strict or lax but the choice is not between strict or casualness. The best advice you can have is to apply your own convictions to your children’s behaviors and teach them what you will feel is correct behavior.
Be firm and friendly but consistent; you can’t go far wrong in that.
