How to deal with Guilt

How frequently you deal with guilt? Did you hurt somebody? Let someone down or left a job incomplete? How often do you brood at night?

Tracy is a single parent. She constantly lives with regret of not having finished her education. She has memories where in she made poor choices when she was young.
How do you handle such pangs of guilt?
Ask yourself these questions to conquer your guilt:
1. What was the issue? Write it down.
2. How did you respond or communicate? Rate your response and communication.
3. What can be done to make amends? Work for reconciliation. Call or write to the person if it can help. Talk about what was said or done.
4. Identify your guilt as false or true? Were you too harsh to yourself? If the answer is yes the problem lies in your mind.
