Transition time from work and school to home
Written by Brenda on February 4th, 2008
The transition time from work and school to home can be really tough on women and their kids. Here is the story of one Mom.

I was driving to pick up my son from school, with my 9-year-old daughter in the backseat, I hoped for a happy evening. I try to leave the stresses of the workday behind once I go home. I hoped a loving homecoming, a retreat from the chaotic outside world. After I picked up my son and was about to reach home the kids had a spat.
“Shut up, you two!” I snapped. My vision of peace and harmony had already crashed. Yes, working moms, this is your second shift.
Manage your transition time from work / school to home. You try to simultaneously get kids on the dinner table and the house cleaned up. Yes it generates pressure and stress.
Transition period from the outside world to home is a tricky time for working moms and kids. Try and change your schedule at home to make it less stressful.
